ArenaNet has published the first in a series of playable species spotlights for Guild Wars 3. It focuses on the humans in the Orrian golden age, and also reveals a few other details about the state of the world at this time. The six gods are physically present in this era, as is their city of Arah, and humans were brought to Tyria over 700 years ago. Other regions are mentioned, such as Ascalon, Cantha and Elona, although they likely won't be playable at the start. There are also more details on both the Vaelwardens and the Mavenwrights.
More spotlights should follow for the Asura, Kodan, and the unannounced fourth species.
